Tooth Whitening

Everybody loves to have a bright white smile. Many people are satisfied with the sparkle they get from brushing twice a day, others want something more. Nowadays tooth whitening has become a common procedure for having a whiter smile. Tooth whiteners may not correct all types of discolouration and bleaching will not enhance existing fillings, crowns and bridges.
In-Office Bleaching
This type of bleaching is done at the dental clinic and may require more than one visit. Each visit may take from 30 minutes to 1 hour. During this process, we will apply a protective gel and a rubber shield to your gums, to protect the gums. A bleaching agent is then applied to the teeth and a special light (UV) may be used to enhance the action of the agent.
At-Home Products
There are several types of products available to use at home, which can either be bought from your dentist or over-the-counter at a pharmacy. These products contain peroxide to bleach the teeth, and are typically found in the form of a gel which is placed in a mouth guard. Some at-home products are to be used twice daily for two weeks and others are intended for overnight use. A custom-fitted mouth guard may be made by the dentist, but some systems may have pre-prepared ones. Usually products that are used at home are used after the in office bleaching is carried out.

Orthodontics

Orthodontics is all about Dental Braces, which are used to repair wrongly postured
teeth or ones which have not grown properly into their usual place. Braces may be
either fixed or removable.
Nowadays fixed braces may also be made with tooth-coloured ceramic to be more natural looking, and a number of ‘invisible’ systems are also available.

Dental Veneers

Dental Veneers is an option to cover gaps between teeth or teeth which are stained,
badly shaped or crooked. These are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-
coloured materials. A small amount of enamel needs to be removed to accommodate
the shell, therefore this process is irreversible and it is highly advisable to consider all
other treatment options available, depending on the case.
